5 Tips to Simplify Your Life by The Granola Factory

Tip #1: Declutter Regularly

Having a clean work & living space is extremely important. To get anything done efficiently, you need to be able to find your items & effectively navigate! While complex organization systems can be helpful and provide an enjoyable task, having simplicity means losing less in the details while having more time for the task at hand. Trying this tip is as simple as it sounds! Try decluttering your apps on your phone, organizing them by what you use the most, and you'll surely see the benefit of trying this tip more regularly.

Tip #2: Plan Meals

Not knowing what you will be eating for the day means that you have multiple decisions to make, some might even require visiting a grocery store or leaving the household. While plans certainly can change, making a list of meals you'd prefer to prepare using the ingredients you have on hand will help simplify planning your day, week, and month. Creating a strict routine can be difficult due to the time commitment necessary to create a quality routine. That being said, the upfront time commitment is most often saving you time in other places. Automating any decision or task will allow you to better spend your energy where it matters most.

Reading news articles and spending time on social media can be a way to destress for some. For others, news & social media can be the source of a cluttered mind & disorganized life. Moderation in your routine, schedule, & information intake helps keep life simple while allowing time to adjust when necessary. Ask yourself after using social media or reading the news in your daily life, "how do I feel now?" Additionally, asking "what have I gained" following the aforementioned activities will support simplifying your busy life.
